Title: Data Integration Analyst

The Data Integration Analyst will support technology operations for our health information exchange connections, clinical and financial data repository, run SQL reports, implement and maintain automated file transfers, support numerous HL7 interfaces, calculate clinical measures in support of our Meaningful Use compliance in addition to other various duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
You will work alongside the application team and customer support team to design, deploy, and support interfaces between our partners and our MEDITECH Electronic Medical Record software using HL7 messaging. You will be expected to communicate with customers via email and telephone calls to understand specifications of their interfaces and support deployments in both test and production environments.
The Data Integration Analyst will code standard and non-standard HL7 interfaces and file transfers through an interface engine product and modify interface code when necessary. You will also need to design testing plans with end-users to ensure the software performs error free through all phases of testing. You will monitor application data between systems and resolve data errors.
The Data Integration Analyst will also be the departmental report writer working with key customers from the business, clinical, information technology and system vendors, to develop and support the data analysis and reporting infrastructure. This role requires an understanding of data structures, data analytics tools, SQL and other database systems, and the ability to apply technology to develop and implement solutions that enable the health system to achieve defined operational and financial goals. You will design and develop decision support dashboards and tools using SSIS/SSRS as well as other enterprise reporting solutions.
The position works collaboratively with the operating areas of the business to help develop the tools and reports in order to enable them to better manage their respective operations. You will provide analysis and reporting from internal and external data sources to produce reports to support clinical, quality, and business performance improvement projects. You will create and utilize various tools and methods to provide support for production solutions, end users, projects and business leaders on a regular and ad hoc basis and implement and manage daily extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes of data from MEDITECH and other databases.
