Identifies testing needs, develops/conducts automated tests, and writes related test material for software testing system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining software test plans.
•Works with Engineers to create testing materials.
•Identifies overall testing needs for organization.
•Works to generate documentation for product releases.
•Develops build configurations to prepare software products for release.
•Develops scripts, applications, and automated tests to aid in product releases.
•Conducts test coverage analyses for continuous improvement efforts.
•Identifies opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform.
•Converts manual test scripts to automated test scripts and execute them in our automated test environment.
•Evaluates test results, and enters defects in defect tracking systems.
•Works with bug tracking systems to ensure proper test coverage of work items.
